Keeping children safe online

Posted: 30-05-2017

Doncaster's Child Sexual Exploitation team are on hand today (Monday 30 May) to help parents and young people learn more about staying safe online .

The team, which includes staff from a range of agencies in Doncaster, will be in the Frenchgate Shopping Centre until 4pm.

They are happy to talk to you about any concerns you may have and also have a quiz to see how much you know about the minimum legal age that young people can register to use a number of popular apps, like Snapchat.

If you are in the town centre, pop along and see them, on the corner opposite the Next store.

At the stand (from the left) are: Jayne Pezzulo, a specialist nurse with RDaSH (Rotherham Doncaster and South Humber NHS Foundation Trust ); Deborah Hartwell, Doncaster Children's Services Trust social worker in the CSE team; Parice Walden, student social worker in the CSE team; and Wendy Mason, social worker in the CSE team.
