Doncaster workforce urged to join mission to tackle domestic abuse

Representatives from across the Doncaster workforce are coming together this month to devise new ways of working to support children and young people affected by domestic abuse.

Research has shown that Doncaster has some of the highest levels of domestic abuse in the UK – which is having a devastating effect on the Borough’s youngsters.

All Doncaster professionals working with families are urged to attend a special event at the Keepmoat Stadium on 20 January from 9am to 5pm, as part of Doncaster Children’s Services Trust’s pioneering £3.1million Growing Futures programme.
