Doncaster Children’s Services Trust will mark the launch of the 2016 National Foster Care Fortnight on Monday 16 May at their town centre office, The Blue Building, High Street Doncaster at 10am.

The theme for this year's Foster Care Fortnight is Time to Foster, Time to Care.

The Trust wants to spread the message that it is looking for prospective foster carers, and if you have the time to care then now is the time to foster.

EPIC way to steer young people away from crime

Last Updated: May 31, 2016

We launched our dynamic new crime prevention programme for 10-17-year-olds with a celebration at Doncaster's Keepmoat Stadium.

EPIC - which stands for Encouraging Potential Inspiring Change – will target young people living in Doncaster who are at risk of getting involved in crime or anti-social behaviour.

The innovative programme includes a ‘whole family’ approach to working with young people and families. It explores all the factors which may impact on young people, ranging from school and peer pressure to family challenges such as health and housing.

“She really listened to me, I really felt heard.”
