I have been through a storm and I have come out the other side. Before Pause I only use to feel safe with a few people, but now I feel I safe with a range of people as I have less fear. I no longer blame myself for horrible things that have happened to me. I go to appointments now.
Coping with mental health. I was struggling to attend appointments. I went to my first one with my Pause practitioner and now I can go on my own and have developed the coping strategies that can help me. I have now created a booklet that I hope will help others people.
In the future I want to be able to control my problems and face difficult situations on my own. I want to set up a group for others who have the same problems as me and help them to cope. My moto is ‘Stay strong and believe in yourself.’
