- Continuous Professional Development
We are always looking at ways to help support our staff to build upon their skills and develop professionally. Our Practice Improvement Programme will enhance all of our social workers knowledge and competence to grow everyone’s confidence in their practice. These take place each year as well as a mid-year catch up and regular one-to-one sessions with your line manager. These meetings are to discuss your performance and development needs, both for your current job and to help you move on in your career.

Defined benefit pension scheme
You will automatically be enrolled into the Local Government Pension Scheme and you can apply to transfer any current pensions into this scheme.
Generous annual leave entitlement
Depending on salary scale, leave entitlements range from 26 to 30 days. We also offer with an extra three days for five years of continuous service and a further two days for 10 years of continuous service. The Trust recognises continuous service from local government employers.
