Learning with the Trust

When you join the Trust, you will have an induction period where you will get to know all of our systems, procedures and policies. You will also keep on learning at the Trust, with access to online training, monthly 'stop the clock sessions', access courses with South Yorkshire Teaching Partnership and many more.

Supporting you with your work/life balance

At the Trust, we will provide you with a range of flexible working arrangements and leave provision to support you to develop your individual talents and have a rewarding working life that can be balanced against personal commitments and responsibilities. 

Generous annual leave entitlement

Depending on salary scale, leave entitlements range from 26 to 30 days. We also offer with an extra three days for five years of continuous service and a further two days for 10 years of continuous service. The Trust recognises continuous service from local government employers.

Discounted parking

We offer a scheme which reduces the cost of parking in Doncaster to around £2 a day, or less if you buy the monthly or annual pass.

Cycle to work scheme

Car lease scheme (salary sacrifice)

Offers all the advantages of having a new vehicle without the hassle and maintenance costs of owning it. Through our scheme, the cost of the vehicle is deducted from your salary before tax. 

Savings on the high street 

'Blue Light' discount scheme means you can access 1000's of savings and discounts from the high street retailers, supermarkets, online retailers and restuarants. 

Boosting your pension

At the Trust you will a part of the Local Government Pension Scheme. Every month, if you wish to, you can make Additional Voluntary Contributions (AVCs) to help boost your Local Government Pension Scheme. 

Continuous service

The Trust is registered with the Redundancy Modification Order scheme and recognises the transfer of continuous service from Local Authorities and other specified bodies.
