Bikers pack panniers with festive cheer

For the fifth year running, members of the St Leger Chapter of the Harley Davidson Club set the wheels in motion to provide toys for local children in care.

They handed over their sacks full of fun at the weekend, ready for the gifts to be given to families by the ACPS south teams in time for Christmas.

Paula Jones, social work assistant with the south team, explained that the group buy the new toys themselves. "They are wonderful - so kind-hearted," she said

“I was impressed with how well she shared information and discussed the complex concerns. She has supported the young person well to have a voice which was definitely heard today.”
