Adoption in Doncaster

Complete your family and theirs - adoption information event

At any one time there are around 20 children in Doncaster who cannot be brought up with their birth family; could you provide them a loving and stable home?

If you could open your heart and provide a permanent home for a Doncaster child you are invited to find out more by calling at an adoption drop-in information event next week.

Doncaster Children’s Services Trust, is to host the event at The Dome, on Monday 17 July, between 5pm and 8pm.

Claire Holmes, manager of the Trust adoption team, said: “We have a number of boys and girls, aged 0-6yrs old in Doncaster who cannot be brought up with their birth family.

“We would love to speak to people willing to open up their hearts and give them a permanent, stable and loving family home.

“Just as our children come from different backgrounds, so do our adopters. We don’t look for specific types of people, we look for the skills and experience which make people suitable to adopt, who come from all walks of life and have a wide range of backgrounds and different personal circumstances.  Nor do you have to live in Doncaster.”

Members of the Adoption team and a number of adoptive parents will be on hand to answer all your questions and to explain the adoption process and the benefits of adopting through the Trust. This includes support throughout the adoption process and after placement.
