Local bikers help young people of Doncaster to have an egg-cellent Easter
Enjoying Easter the way they should children, young people and families of Doncaster received a chocolatey surprise all thanks to the kind donations provided by Morrison’s Supermarket and local biker enthusiasts, St. Leger Chapter Doncaster, Harley Owners Group.
Putting a smile on children’s faces, over 150 Easter eggs were generously donated by the two organisations, and were hand delivered to the Trust by a member of the club dressed as the Easter Bunny.
Just one of many extraordinary displays of kindness displayed by the St Leger Chapter Doncaster, Harley Owners Group, who were recently awarded the Partner of the Year award by the Trust for the phenomenal acts of generosity shown to vulnerable children, young people and families over the years.
Ian Pastoor, spokesperson for the group commented: “We have been working with Doncaster Children’s Services Trust for some time now, and every time we are pleased to hear the impact that our members donations have had on the children, young people and families across Doncaster. We are very pleased to be able to offer a little extra help those who needed it during this celebration period.”
Trust colleagues made sure to share the donation between the young people supported by the Trust. Commenting on the generosity Paula, a Social Work Assistant said:
“This fantastic donation created a lot of smiles and we would like to say a big thank you to all involved!”
