Trust Fostering visits local primary school

Parents at Travis St Lawrence Primary school in Hatfield are this week being encouraged to consider fostering. A group of our current foster carers have been visiting the school during parent’s evening and providing information to potential foster carers about what it takes to be part of the Trust Fostering family.

Speaking about the events, Trevor Polson, current foster carer and chairman of the Doncaster Foster Carers Association (DFCA) said: “visiting the school is really about getting the word out about Trust Fostering and raising awareness of fostering to the local community.”

“Hundreds of parents will be attending the school and passing our stall over the course of the parents evenings and it is a great opportunity for us to tell people about what makes Trust Fostering different.”

Parents are being invited to leave their details if they’d like to find out more and children at the school are being given a free Trust Fostering sports bottle to further spread the word.
